MBM Board Member Steve Jacobus visited Uganda and conducted an informal, in-person survey of 36 MBM Borrowers.

MBM partnered with Children of Grace (COG) organization in 2009 to introduce its new micro loan program providing business training, mentoring and loans to the many guardians of HIV children living in and around Jinja, Uganda.  MBM made its first 9 loans in 2009 with $850.  Since then MBM has made over 500 loans with the help of its local mentors, Moreen and Becky.  In our efforts to expand our program in the second largest city in Uganda, MBM is now outreaching to other communities and organizations, such as Hope International.
