Brian Dailey


Brian was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri in a pastor’s home. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from a non-denominational Christian college, Bob Jones University. Brian is trained as a C.P.A. and has over 25 years of accounting and finance management experience. He currently works as Corporate Controller for a global company based in Walnut Creek. Brian has lived in the East Bay area for approximately 9 years, after relocating from Atlanta, Georgia.

Connie Blackwood


Connie received her BA from Gettysburg College and has been in banking for over 35 years with experience in consumer lending and consumer compliance regulations. She is a Director and Senior Compliance Officer at Union Bank The Private Bank, San Francisco.   Connie is an active member of Community Presbyterian Church, Danville, CA, and has served as a deacon. She became interested in micro-finance in 2008 while taking on a $100 Kingdom Assignment after studying 40 Days of Purpose with her congregation.

David Herrmann


David is President of Herrmann & Cooke Wealth Management. He has served with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) as Vice-Chairman of the District Business Conduct Committee and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He co-authored Ways & Means, a book that discusses ways to increase the value of your retirement dollars and Strictly Business, a book about planning strategies for privately owned businesses. David is active in community service and has served on the Board of Directors of Shepherd`s Gate, the Concord Rotary Club, The Contra Costa Executives Association, Child Assault Prevention of Contra Costa County, Inc. and Heartlight, Inc. He is past President of the Tri-Valley Executives Association and has served as a Trustee for the Concord Rotary Endowment Fund.

Del Olsen


Del, a native Texan, attended seminary in Berkeley and then Del pastored three churches – Tulare, San Mateo, and Lafayette.  Del also served as Campus Minister at UC Berkeley from 1971-1976. While there he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree and Marriage and Family Counseling license. In 1976 he joined RAFA Counseling Associates and practiced for twenty-one years, retiring in 1997. Poverty has been his focus of study and action since 2000, working with the Presbytery of San Francisco in the Joining Hands Against Hunger program, at CPC, and now at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church in Lafayette, CA.

George Cutler


George brings over 40 years of leadership and successful management experience to the clients of The Cutler Group.  His diverse background covers senior management experience in multiple industries with companies ranging in size from start-up to Fortune 100 companies operating in the U. S. and internationally. Helping businesses and organizations is what I do.  MBM gives me the
exciting opportunity to help others get businesses started to improve their lives.  What could be better than that?

Jarren Nagy


Jarren grew up in Danville, California which is where he currently lives with his wife Jennifer and two children Rinnah Joy and Jacob.  He started a used cooking oil collection business in 2012 which was sold in 2016.  Jarren is currently workimg as a consultant. He is a member of East Bay Four Square Church where he is involved with men’s ministry on the leadership team.  He is a sports fan and loves the SF Giants. His interest in MBM began on a mission trip to the Philippines in 2011.

Jeff Orwig


Jeff has lived in Danville, CA for 35 years and has been a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Danville for 30 years.  He is  an elder at CPC.  Married to Merry Jane, they have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.  Jeff owns his own construction business and has been involved in the real estate industry during his career.

Jim Lewkowicz


Jim was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in business.  He moved to California in 1977 and was employed by the Federal Aviation Association where he enjoyed 23 years as an Air Traffic Controller.  He also established himself as a successful licensed general building contractor in which he remains active today.  Jim became involved with MBM through his wife, Connie Blackwood, when he traveled with her to the Philippines in 2011.  Jim now directs the Philippines program for MBM with a goal to expand the program and help break the poverty cycle of the less fortunate.

Steve Jacobus


Steve received his B.S. degree in Education and Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri. He began his professional career, teaching and coaching at the high school level in California. The following years, Steve carved out a career in the printing industry in sales as well as sales management. After 40 successful years supporting and growing customers’ businesses, he had an experience that led him to Uganda and the needs of widows and orphans of AIDS. Over the past two years, Steve has spent time in Uganda helping widows and children retain their rightful property and visiting schools, hospitals, and churches. Steve has brought the message of hope and belief. He is looking forward to continuing his efforts through MBM to help widows and children toward a better life.

Vince Wirthman


Vince was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA with a degree in Business Administration. He works as a mortgage broker for RPM Mortgage in Orinda.  He lives in the East Bay with his wife and children.  In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and skiing.
